Professional Interests
A senior clinician at PSSC, the years have taught Donna to deeply respect the individuality of each human. She endorses a treatment plan that highlights collaboration, is established conjointly, and considers each individual’s preferred route to growth and change.
She works beast with clients who are ready to examine behavioral and thinking patterns, understand them, and choose to modify them because they want to access the best life possible for themselves.
She works with adults, couples and families and has expertise in relationship issues.
She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and other emotional regulation strategies. She has studied Interpersonal Reconstructive Therapy, a treatment approach helpful to those persons diagnosed with personality disorders or long term mood disorders.
Clinical Experience
Donna Has an MSSW from UW Madison School of Social Work, having also studied at Valparaiso University and Columbia University.
She is a supporter of the Dane County Chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, where she has served on the Board of Directors and chaired a WALK team for many years.
She belongs to the National Association of Social Workers, Wisconsin Chapter, and has served on the board of Directors both in the state and nationally.
She has worked as an educator, an administrator, a clinical supervisor and a program director.
